Fuzz Orchestra - Comunicato n°2 (2009)

Cerebral, totally bonkers, waaaaaaay too obscure Italian psych rock. For real, you're gonna hear this and wonder how it's even possible that you've never heard of them, you stupid, stupid motherfucker. Thunderous percussion, heavy riffing, keyboards, skronking saxophone, and loads of samples. They're mostly an instrumental band, with one or two exceptions -- the folk song sample that plays over the coda of the sludgy "Focu d'amuri", and the actual vocals on "Volo fuzz n. 1".

Track listing:
1. Il terrorista
2. Amore tossico
3. Hanno cambiato faccia
4. Focu d'amuri
5. La festa è finita
6. Luglio 01
7. Volo fuzz n. 1
8. Marmo rosso sangua

  2. great band, and their third album "morire per la patria" is even better!
"volo fuzz n.1" is actually a cover of claudio rocchi's "volo magico n. 1", a masterpiece of italian 70s music:

  3. This is fucking superb! Thanks for the tunes, man. I come through here every week and always find something I love. I do a couple radio shows down here in Austin and have gotten loads of material from this blog (they're a Psych show and a Black Metal show, so there's a lot to explore here!). Keep up the good work, my man.

  5. I actually own this one, and I bought it from the band themselves; my band's only European "tour" included a date in Stuttgart and we were on a bill with them. They were great live! I was surprised they weren't higher up the ladder and were still playing the odd kinds of places we played. Nifty record - great guys - good times.
