Accidentally came across this on some music blog in Czech language around 2009 or so. Downloaded it just because it was there, for free. Upon listening immediately realized that this is several notches above the typical chillout/downtempo fare. Makes sense, as it's made by some classically trained people. All these years later, still one of my favorites in this type of sound.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I was somehow especially struck by the song title "93 years on". That just echoed because back then I was in my late twenties and thinking about time a lot. Like how it's such a defining thing in everyone's life, but also supremely opaque and ephemeral. Maybe it's just us having a memory that makes time exist the way it does for us.
