Austrian black metal. The First and the Last Commandment is pretty goddamn weird, starting with the fact that it's the work of a boyfriend-and-girlfriend couple, who go by the names Trifixion of the Horned God (formerly of Summoning) and Yog Sothoth, respectively.
Beyond those factoids, the vocals have the same demonic high-and-low effect that you've heard in practically every possession-based horror movie you've ever seen, landing -- along with the keyboards, which are plentiful and prominent -- right in that sweet spot between cheesy and convincingly evil.
