Norwegian raw ambient black metal. Beautiful, distant acoustic passages lead to massive, blown-out walls of icy guitars, blurred drums, and high-pitched screams, with a majestic, melancholic sense of grandeur. One of my favorite of the many great black metal bands that I found on the late, great Cosmic Hearse -- goddamn, I miss that blog.
