Epic, fusion-flavored, borderline symphonic Corsican prog. Proud and worthy disciples of the great Magma, who I've never posted here 'cause I figure they're kinda just a given, right?
Track listing:
1. U Rigiru
2. I Lagramanti
3. A Mubba
Earthly burdens
If you like this, try:
Le Orme - Felona e Sorona (1973) |
Catherine Ribeiro + Alpes - Le Rat Débile et L'Homme des Champs (1974) |
I guess Magma is a given, but it wouldn't piss me off one bit it you ever decide to post anything. I know the classics, less so the newer stuff, ala what would you consider the best one post 1990. Either way, thanks for this and all the rest.

ReplyDeleteIs it the singer from Banco del Mutuo Soccorso? Sounds just like him at times. Which also made me realize for the first time how similar Banco sounds to Magma at times.
ReplyDeletemm i don't think so, Banco is an Italian band, and the members of Rialzu are all french. Anyway, yes there is a similarity in the voice i can't deny!
Delete1 - Singer of BMS = Of course not.
Delete2 - Of course Corse is not France
D_S,
ReplyDeleteJust want to wish you happy holidays (and merry xmas if you celebrate - as Stan Marsh says I'm a lonely Jew on Christmas... all dreidels and latkes over here) and as always thank you for the year-round gifts. Music is one of the only things that makes life just bearable for me - and your blog certainly plays a part in this.
Cheers n seasonal beers,
Tz
Not that it fkn matters but I meant Kyle, not Stan; my brain's mush. YES - I actually am bothering to correct myself
