Previously on OPIUM HUM:
Constance Demby - Sacred Space Music (1982)

I've been sick as a dog since late Thursday night. Here are the gentle, cosmic sounds that I'm listening to while awaiting the sweet release of death.

Track listing:
1. The Dawning
2. Darkness of Space
3. Lift Thine Eyes
4. Sunborne
5. One with the Light

  1. The new age cover art nearly scared me off. Thankfully I didn't let it. A mesmeric soundtrack for drifting off this mortal coil indeed. Gratitude.

    1. Haha, well, it is new age -- just the good stuff, of which there is plenty. Glad you got it!

  2. Brilliant! I wish more of n/a music was as substantive as this womans 1980 release. Yanni and the lot cramped the nu age vibe when sex appeal and $$ came into play. Thanks for the share!

    1. Just checked, many are still up, but many aren't because they automatically get deleted if no one downloads them for 30 days. I was on a mission to replace all the old links with Mega links but it was taking forever so I stopped. If there are specific albums you want, let me know and I'll re-up them.

  5. Early New Age was excellent. What followed was so overly sweetened that it caused aural cavities.
