Catherine Ribeiro + Alpes - Le Rat Débile et L'Homme des Champs (1974)

French prog. Sharp, mostly low-key songs with a quiet sort of tension and drama, fronted by a woman whose gorgeous, unassuming voice induces chills. AND who, it's worth mentioning, was a major influence on Kim Gordon -- heard it straight from Gordon's mouth on her speaking tour.
