Excellent debut LP from German producer Ellen Allien. Allien's specialty is artfully-constructed but danceable minimal techno, and as Stadtkind shows, she's been doing it as well or better than pretty much everyone else for upwards of a decade and a half now. Speaking of which, her new album is maybe her best work yet -- don't sleep on it.
