Michael Stearns - M'Ocean (1984)

Previously on OPIUM HUM:
Michael Stearns - Ancient Leaves (1978)
Michael Stearns - Floating Whispers (1987)
Michael Stearns - Encounter (A Journey in the Key of Space) (1988)

Damn, it's been a while since I posted anything by this guy. A beautiful, haunting world of synthesizer magic, M'Ocean was one of the first new age records I ever connected with, and to this day it remains a favorite.

Track listing:
1. Sirens
2. Marriage Chords
3. M'Ocean
4. Lightplay
5. Vicki's Dance
6. Fireflies' Delight
7. Walking Song

Great big blue world

  2. I don't know if it's appropriate to ask this here or not, but since you don't post a lot of classic rock, do you read any blogs that do? I've been a fan of your blog for three years now

    1. Totally fine. I actually don't regularly read a lot of blogs, but Darius, Don't You Get the Feelin' (formerly ChrisGoesRock) is definitely the best classic rock blog that I'm aware of: http://dariuschrisgoes.blogspot.com/
