Barre Phillips - Mountainscapes (1976)

Hi, I'm back, I'm fucking exhausted, and this is what I'm listening to. An excellent LP of avant-garde jazz fusion, with a cosmic synth-fueled second act. Like any great ECM record, Mountainscapes deftly walks the line between tranquility and anxiety, and occasionally falls all the way into one or the other.

8 tracks, titled "Mountainscape I" through "Mountainscape VIII"
