One of the best funeral doom records, and one of the few whose truly unsettling, monstrous sound is worthy of its Lovecraftian themes. How can this dude (it's a solo project from Arizona) sleep at night, having dropped a masterpiece of this magnitude and never following it up? The Cthulhu needs you. I need you. I... I love you.
Track listing:

2. Dead Dripping City
3. At the Edge of the Abyss

Acolytes of doom lurch forth from ebbing tides

Killer, unforgettable album. Do you have a good rip of Hierophant's "The Tome"?
ReplyDeleteI have a rip, seem to remember there being something wrong w it. I'll check when I get home
DeleteAbsolutely, one of my favorite cult classics.
ReplyDeleteAt least in this fucked-up house!
Well played, once again!

ReplyDeleteSorry but I found this release to be monotonous and essentially boring after 2-3 cuts. One track of 15 minutes would have said all this release was aiming for.
Less surprised to discover that this dissonant, extremely repetitive funeral doom record isn't for everyone than I am that you felt the need to list your credentials.
