Download began as a duo consisting of Cevin Key and (Skinny Puppy keyboardist) Dwayne Goettel who, sadly, passed away before Furnace was recorded. The group's first album, it starts out in harsh, beat-driven, goth-club-ready mode, then takes off for murkier, trippy-er terrain.
