i like to think im extremely open minded about music taste but i genuinely dont see how i could get into this "music" idk maybe its not for me but i just dont see what the fans of noise music see.
ReplyDeleteWell, it's certainly not for everyone.
DeleteI'm not much of a noise fan at all, but harsh noise thrown over top of another style of music can heighten the emotional impact or intensity of a song and then some straight ahead harsh noise can make me feel pulverized and numb in a good way. The Ramleh album he linked is especially good because it is both melancholic and emotional while also pulverizing.
DeleteThat's just my own reasons, though, and as I said, I'm not a big noise fan and usually avoid noise releases.
This is off topic, but surfingtheodyssey.blogspot.com is gone. Fuck.
ReplyDeleteYa, so is Clock That Went Backward, Zen Archer's other blog. Both have been taken down before, so maybe they'll both return.
DeleteMeanwhile, noise and Manson quotes!
