Brendan Perry - Eye of the Hunter (1999)
Excellent debut solo album of dark, atmospheric Americana from Brendan Perry of Dead Can Dance. Eye of the Hunter centers on delicately picked guitars and Perry's deep, god-like voice, with a host of faux-symphonic and acoustic instrumental embellishments. Includes a cover of Tim Buckley's "I Must Have Been Blind."
