Striborg - Autumnal Melancholy (2008)

Previously on OPIUM HUM:
Striborg - Mysterious Semblance (2004)
Striborg - Trepidation (2005)

The spookiest, most ghostly of all black metal. As open as Sin Nanna left himself to satire, I truly think that Striborg is one of the greatest BM projects in the history of the style, and that he's a legit musical genius.

(I meant to post this on Halloween but got caught up watching horror movies and forgot. In related news, I watched Pumpkinhead for the first time and it sucked big fat ass.)

Track listing:
1. The Scrying Mirror
2. The Void and Cloudless Sky
3. As a Hermit Hiding in the Trance of Night
4. In Oppressive Silence
5. The Manifestation of Black Residual Energy
6. Autumnal Melancholy
7. Meandering in Sorrow
8. Transfiguration of Terror

A lonely walk in a desolate cold pine forest

Also of interest:
Pyha -
The Haunted House (2006)
Endless Dismal Moan -
Curse of Underground (2010)
