Ketil Bjørnstad, David Darling, Terje Rypdal, & Jon Christensen - The Sea (1995) + The Sea II (1998)

Two albums of haunting, dynamic pieces for piano, guitar, cello, and percussion. Bjørnstad's fragile, stately piano themes serve as a base over which Rypdal's guitar soars and Darling's cello weeps, as Christensen (aka the drummer on almost every major ECM release) maintains a nervous tension throughout.

  1. Ah-hum...What happened to "Zippy"? That "Sendspace" Downloader's Crap!
    Having said that; Exellent Blog!

    Thanx-a-MILLION! :-D
    Still Exploring Music

    1. I used sendspace when I first started this blog, this is an older post. I've since learned how sucky sendspace is.

  2. If you have never renewed these links and they are still working after 3 years then sendspace is not as sucky as many others one runs into. I still cant bear the loss of that Sun Ra site because almost everything on it was Rapidshare.... what was it "adventureEquation" i think,... and even before RapidShare died it was slower and more of a pain than sendspace.
