Malleus Maleficarum - Taedium Vitae (2002)

Killer French black metal. Perfect balance of semi-melodic occult feels and riff-y ass-kicking. And the drummer is hella sick. A really great record that most of y'all are just gonna ignore 'cause you wouldn't know good black metal if the ground opened up before you and out of the bottomless pit it crept, astride a cackling goat, a sacrificial virgin on each arm, decked out in full corpsepaint and spikes, bleeding freely from its numerous genitalia, and playing a guitar made out of shrieking abominations from hell.

Track listing:
1. Intro
2. Bleeding Runes
3. L'Hymne au Corbeau
4. Aesma Daeva
5. Lord of War
6. Ancient Blood
7. Desekrating Graves
8. Omen of the Moon
9. Outro
