  1. The Mickey's Diner on the cover is in St. Paul, MN.

Also it is found in a movie scene for Jingle All the Way and all three Mighty Ducks movies.

  3. I DL'd this for one reason - he's standing in front of a Studebaker Golden Hawk Gran Turismo - one of the greatest vehicles made in the USA in the late 1950s. Truly a work of art.

  4. A GREAT album, nice choice. I bought this on vinyl after already owning/spinning the 12" of Alexander O'Neal's "This Thing Called Love" which is an absolute old-school soulful house classic (courtesy of the remixing wizardry of the legendary David Morales). Sadly my Technics 1210s and other equipment are also in storage, my apt. is shoe-box sized

  8. This was Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis at their finest before The SOS Band's Sands Of Time was released from a production standpoint. They kept what they learned in The Time as far as the length of album working with Prince and it made you want to relisten after it ended, it was just killer, killer, killer and then replay..

    1. Yes! The CD boom made every artist in the world want to release hour-plus records, and the metrics/payout models for streaming services encourage artists to release filler-saturated playlists masquerading as albums, but I'm glad to see that a lot of current artists have instead gravitated back towards shorter, single-LP-friendly albums.
