Csejthe - La Mort du Prince Noir (2009)

Québécois occult black metal. Through extremely brief research, I gleaned that the "Prince Noir" in question is Hungarian nobleman Ferenc Nádasdy, whose death gave his wife Elizabeth Motherfucking Bathory a castle to herself. I wonder how that worked out? And thus begins one month of (mostly) spoopy posts.

Track listing:
1. Invocation
2. La Mort du Prince Noir
3. Le Sang d'Harczy
4. La Comtesse
5. La Redoutable Ascendance
6. Destin Funeste
7. Le Dernière Parade
8. Sans Croix et Sans Lumière
9. Conjuration

The faceless one

Also listen to:
Tenebrae in Perpetuum -
Onori Funebri Rituali (2003)
Drowning the Light -
Catacombs of Blood (2010)

  1. Three blogs have been greatly influential in my "musical life": dontcountonit (now ended), Ben from blackmetalandbrews (of course), and the third - guess who - is opiumhum!

There are two things i do when i wake up in the morning (besides coffee) :
    - I read dumbingofage.
    - I check opiumhum.

Thank you for all these wonderful gems you are sharing. Funk, electro, black metal, doom, even hip hop, your blog is like finding a Pirate's treasure with the eyes of a child!

(oh, and talking about hip hop, i recommend you to listen the new Nine LP, so dark and hypnotic : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LajZTQVwQAU)
