Knelt Rote - Trespass (2012)

Third and best LP from Knelt Rote, hands-down one of Portland's best metal bands. Trespass is an ugly, relentless piece of black/death metal art, deserving of far more attention than it has received. Having toned down the harsh noise elements that found their way onto previous Knelt Rote records, they nonetheless manage on Trespass to capture an even more overwhelming sense of extreme, dead-eyed, void-embracing bleakness, with sharper precision and focus. Fans of Incantation and Profanatica, this is for you.

Track listing:
1. Usurpation
2. Hunger
3. Passenger
4. Succumb
5. Compress
6. Identical
7. Interlude
8. Catalepsy

Every single human being on planet earth deserves to die

  1. Just found this blog a few days ago. Good stuff. Thanks for the ambush album and that one Ukrainian black metal band whose name is unpronounceable. Though their bandcamp says the zavods. Not sure if thats a translation of the name with a 3 and a collapsing teepee in it though. Anywho...any chance of reupping the ringing bell album? Thanks ahead of time if you can.
