Funeral Mourning - Drown in Solitude (2006)

Austere - Withering Illusions and Desolation (2007)
Temple Nightside - Prophecies of Malevolence (2011)

Australian blackened funeral doom. Everything -- guitars, drums, vocals -- is given the ol' extreme reverb treatment, thereby making Drown in Solitude sound as though it's encased in a thick, ghostly fog.

  1. Love this record. He's abandoned that "foggy" sound on the newer stuff, I'm not as into it, but this is superb.

  2. The tracklist is the same as Austere's Withering Illusions and Desolation. (don't know which one is correct).

    1. Oh weird, I was working on these two posts at the same time, must have gotten the track listing mixed up. This one (Funeral Mourning) is correct, just fixed the Austere post. Thanks!
