Affinity - Affinity (1970)

Totally sweet, ornate old-school prog/psych with a breezy, at times jazzy feel, fueled by the powerful, melancholy-tinged voice of singer Linda Hoyle.

Track listing:
1. I Am & So Are You
2. Night Flight
3. I Wonder If I Care as Much
4. Mr. Joy
5. Three Sisters
6. Coconut Grove
7. All Along the Watchtower

You can wind him up
He'll do anything you want him to

  1. Thanks for the post. There's always a place for stuff like this to mine ears. The cover art is curiously reminiscent of Black Sabbath's debut album, as a weird bonus.

    1. Cover art artist Marcus Keef designed both album covers for classic UK label VERTIGO.

  2. Thanks for the share. Must agree with the previous comment regarding the cover. There is certainly a resemblance with Sabbath's debut LP cover

  3. It’s the same model on both covers— the Affinity one was a shoot from later in tne same day (from an article on the model, Louisa Livingstone, when it came out a few years ago she was the model on the Sabbath cover)
