Ray Lynch - The Sky of Mind (1983)

First LP from classically-trained new age composer Ray Lynch. A bright, pleasing mix of organic and synthetic instrumentation, including acoustic guitar, flute, piano, strings, synth, wordless ethereal vocals, and Tibetan bells. According to Lynch's website:

"The Sky of Mind was created after I realized that there was a small (but robust and growing) alternative market for something called "new age" music. I wasn't sure what that was, but Sky seemed to fit in okay."

In other words, it was pure, divine inspiration.
