Charles Bobuck - Chuck's Ghost Music (2011)

The Residents - Stars and Hank Forever: The American Composers Series, Vol. 2 (1986)

A deeply disturbing, highly abstract solo effort from Charles Bobuck of The Residents. Pitch-black synthesizers, clattering percussion, samples from commercials, tape loops, ghoulish vocals. The kind of stuff that can really get in your head if you let it.

2. Ghost Snake
3. Perchance to Dream
4. Milton
5. Pudding in Disguise

  1. Any chance of a re-up? They release too much, and I'm seeing them Feb. 2, 2022 in Copenhagen for the 6th time since 1983 (been listening since 1980)...

Charles Bobuck is sadly no longer with us since 3 years and 1 week. He was born as Hardy Fox March 29, 1945 in Longview, Texas, and died October 30, 2018. He was one of the only two real members of The Residents 1971-2015 (the other one being Homer Flynn III, born in Shreveport, Louisiana, April 11, 1945).

Hardy Fox was survived by his husband, Steven Kloman, vocalist on the Freak Show when it went on the road in 1990.
