Italian black metal. Densely layered, psychedelic, and complex, but not at the expense of a good ol' fashioned ass-kicking -- for reference, see the brutal-but-off-kilter two-note breakdown riff on the leadoff track, "Definitive Conjuction". So, pretty much everything one could ask for from a modern black metal record.
