Michael Prime - Fructification (1989)

First solo full-length from "sound ecologist" Michael Prime. As with all of Prime's work, Fructification consists of sonic manipulations of (mostly) non-musical sound sources, including feedback generated by a malfunctioning bat detector. The results are alien, glitchy, and often quite harsh.

Track listing:
1. Insect Wavelengths
2. Dissolving Geographic Time
3. The Mouth of Hermes

Contours of a forgotten landscape

More along these lines:
Twine - Recorder (2002)
KTL - 2 (2007)
