Your boy DEAR_SPIRIT is about to leave for a little over a week of touring with my band Rohit, so I'm gonna hit y'all with something special that should take a while to burn through. It's a phenomenal 4-disc compilation of songs by various darkwave, neoclassical, neofolk, and otherwise industrial-adjacent artists, each of which is meant to represent a different herb. What's that? Yes, marijuana is included -- Lotus Eaters are given the honor. Other artists include the rest of the above-linked, as well as Amber Asylum, RAIN, Troum, and a whole bunch more. Full track listing here. You're welcome.

  6. Wow, thank you! I don't know how I've never heard of this before; now I need to track down a physical copy and check out the book that came with it. For as much ground as they cover in four and a half hours, it's remarkable how well everything flows together.

    1. It's really a remarkable piece of work, definitely worth tracking down. This is one of the few albums on here that I actually ripped myself.

  12. Thank you for the reup of disc 4. I downloaded the first 3 discs, and it was indeed fantastic. My enjoyment was tempered by the 4th disc not being there. Any time I tried to listen to it I'd just be thinking about the missing 4th disc - like being in a haunted house and trying to relax, but hearing sinister footsteps on some remote landing. Or something. Not to worry, it's downloading now, the footsteps are silent and I can relax hahaha
