Vordven - Towards the Frozen Stream (1997)

Finnish black metal. There's a strong presence of non-harsh elements -- layered keyboards, clean vocals, and acoustic guitars -- resulting, in combination with melodic, mid-tempo riffs and a whole lotta reverb, in a strangely beautiful, ethereal feel.
