Albert Ayler Quartet - Ghosts (1965)

Here's some free jazz to close out your work week. How 'bout you put on your slippers, pour yourself some brandy on the rocks, draw a bath, pop a xany, and listen to two of free jazz's greatest horn players, Albert Ayler (sax) and Don Cherry (trumpet) screech at each other over the nervous, rhythmless rhythm section of Gary Peacock and Sonny Murray. Ahhhh, that's better!

Track listing:
1. Ghosts
2. Children
3. Holy Spirit
4. Ghosts
5. Vibrations

  5. Loving this line up, so intense! I've been on a Don Cherry kick recently - any chance you have 'human music' 1970 w/ Jon Appleton? Thanks
