Swedish sludge/post-metal. Much like Baroness and their Savannah ilk, Kongh have a gift for using elements of various heavy musical styles -- classic heavy metal, post-metal, doom, hardcore, mathcore, even some black/death metal -- to forge something new and exciting. Unlike Baroness, though, Kongh are firmly rooted in slow, dissonant sludge, which makes for a much darker, painful listen. Should be waaaaaaay more popular.
