Luke Vibert - Big Soup (1997)

Previously on OPIUM HUM:
Luke Vibert - Lover's Acid (2005)

Trip-hop week continues with a lush, spacious contribution -- with the occasional diversion into drum n bass -- from British producer Luke Vibert. Much more in line with his Wagon Christ records than the other stuff he'd release under his given name.

Track listing:
1. Intro - Welcome
2. Rank Rink Ring
3. Voyage into the Unknown
4. Fused into Musick
5. No Turn Unstoned
6. Reality Check
7. M.A.R.S.
8. Stern Facials
9. Am I Still Dreaming?
10. 2001 Beats
11. Music Called Jazz
12. Space Race
13. So Long - Outro

  1. Luke Vibert (under any guise) is fookin great - so much so that I almost wish I didn't already own everything; it would be exciting to download something "new" to me by Sir 303 (my own nick for him...he should use it), lol..

I have a request, I already tried over at Slow Goes the Goose as I figured AB would've had it but he didn't. So, D_S I paste the following with mine fingers crossed:

Would you possibly have "Abandoned City" by Hauschka (Volker Bertelmann) to share? I lost all of my
Bertelmann collection from a hdd failure last summer :/ Thanks either way!

    1. You know I gotchu: https://www77.zippyshare.com/v/3lgcrigh/file.html

    2. Oh shit (((thank you))) D_S!! So happy to finally have this again - a cosmos of prepared piano bliss ;)

  2. Long time lurker, first time commenter. Thanks for putting this up. I've owned it for over 20 years now, but someone out there has never heard this before and is in for a huge treat. Thanks for all of the great music, D_S!

  3. Massive. Hearty thanks for the post.

I'm one of those someones who never heard this before. Huge treat indeed.
