Deadguy - Fixation on a Coworker (1995)

Classic early metalcore. Dissonant, gnarled, and very, very angry. The sound of frustration and stress boiling over into pure contempt.

1. Doom Patrol
2. Pins and Needles
3. Die with Your Mask On
4. Baby Arm
5. Makeshift Atomsmasher
6. The Extremist
7. Nine Stitches

  1. One of the best albums of the 90s. The first two 7"s are class too.

    1. I never stopped! Been doing a 45-minute workout 6 days a week since late April, and am currently in the best shape of my adult life! I just don't really talk about it here because I don't want to come off like I'm bragging or something. And most of my workout music is stuff that I can't post here -- lotta Lil Wayne, Kanye, Clipse, Ministry, and NIN.

    2. Cool! Also 6 days is a lot. Damn I was sick for a few weeks and have to start all over again.. starting the the hardest... I think ministry and especially old nine inch nails is totally postable.

    3. 6 days is a lot, maybe too much even. I keep on telling myself that I can scale it back but I never do. Starting is definitely the hardest part, once it's part of your routine, it's so much easier to just do the damn thing. Working out at home has been a game-changer for me cause it means that if I'm home and I have time, there's literally nothing stopping me from working out.
My main concern with posting any of those artists is getting copyright complaints. The more well-known an album/artist is, the better chance that there's someone who's getting paid to make sure that they aren't getting bootlegged. Had a blog before this one get shut down due to too many DMCA complaints, and they were almost always from major artists -- Mobb Deep, DMX, XTC, ELO, and Beck all got taken down very quickly. Since then, I try to be more careful.

    4. Makes sense. Posting not to well known stuff is more interesting either way.
Also work out from home. Plus got myself a punch bag which is fun and great for my back it seems.
