Wayne Henderson - Emphasized (1979)

Sweet as honey, smooth as butter disco-flavored jazz-funk from trombonist (and Roy Ayers collaborator) Wayne Henderson. The A side's all vocal-driven dance floor jams -- listen for the maniacal, pitchshifted backing vox on "I Want'cha to Dance" -- then side B ditches the vocals and slows it down for a smokey, late-night cool.

Track listing:
1. Dancin' Love Affair
2. Feel the Fire
3. For You
4. I Want'cha to Dance
5. Get the Ants Out Ya Pants
6. Monte Carlo
7. Starry Eyes
8. Lover Man (Oh Where Can You Be)
9. I Keep Looking for a Better Way
10. So in Love with You

Bright moments
