First album of raw, epic, kinda sloppy US black metal from South Dakota, of all places -- though the band's apparent influences reside somewhere in the vicinity of Cascadia. I know virtually nothing about Woman Is the Earth, but I'd bet money that they are ex-crusties.
Track listing:
1. Beneath the Melting Sun
2. Withered Fields of Grain
3. Skeleton of the World
4. The Dark and Damp Forest Floor
Bound to an existence buried beneath the richest soil
To remain while the temple grows around me
More crusty black metal:
Inure - Inure (2003) |
Plaguewielder - Demo (2005) + Diablero - Demo (2007) |
